Hi! I am Sara Hyde, an Edinburgh based illustrator and painter. I have a background in graphic design but have a grounding in painting (I studied Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art, BA Hons), and I aim to bring together the techniques and aesthetics of traditional and digital media to create work.
My work draws the stunning Scottish landscape and the diverse wealth of nature on our doorstep. I find a constant source of inspiration in my three small children and our family excursions to explore the sea and the mountains, and the dark and light places of the woods.
